The signal voltage from the Thermal Scout plugs into the A2 input.  (On some FrSky receivers and the FrSky documentation this is labeled AD2.)

When using our FrSky Filter Cable, plug the shorter, 3-wire end into the Thermal Scout.  Plug the other end into the side of the FrSky D8R receiver with the red wire to the A2 pin and the brown wire to the G (ground) pin.

The black connector from the Thermal Scout plugs into the servo channel of your choice. (Most people use channel 5 -- the retractable landing gear channel).  Leave the red connecter unconnected.
